Thank you.

In 2000, I made my first movie. I just bought my first scanner, an Epson color 1200 that was sold with the CD of Photoshop. I had black and white copies that I made from a Chinese book found in the library of the Guimet Museum. I decided to add some colors with my brand new software, then some music and I wrote the draft of an exhibit that became the script of my movie. If I translate the title, it would be "The Sails of Dian - The History of a Bronze People". I made the sound of the prayers with my voice and I made the sound of the gongs with my big voice. The rest is all traditional music from China. The purpose of the movie was to show the many details that we cannot see on the photocopy and to tell a story that any academic writing would never have been able to tell.
