ABOUT ME

Eima BLANK is my business name, but this is also my dog's name, a weimaraner that I adopted in 2008. Unfortunatly, I had to leave Eima with my mother in France but I do not give up the dream to have her back with me in the USA.

Eima was my first dog. I already had a dog while a child, but it was more like my father's dog until she got shot by a gun, 42 tiny bullets in her body. I gave her care and medical attention, sleeping with her on the floor to keep her alive. She became my dog, and she was mostly a friend.

With Eima, I did not have any experience of raising a dog and I litteraly hated her. She had been nice for one week after adoption, then became a full nasty little puppy who used to pee on the sofa, scratch the cloth, bit my hands and harms. I almost lost one finger with her, and spent my days crying for my mistake of adopting her. I wanted to give up the adoption and felt guilty. That was awful.

After two months adoption, I started puppies classes and was crying only on Fridays, the day before I would go back to classes and make it alright the following six days. There was always a last day when Eima could get on me and I had to learn to train my dog. My voice has changed, I have learned to raise it. My temper has changed too. A dog is not a cat. I had a cat before which is the kind of pet than you can tame. You cannot tame a dog, you must dominate it, be a chief and a boss at home. This was all new to me.

In facts, the bossy business did not work with Eima and I gave up the puppies school. I guess that we learnt to know each other and she started to care when I got hurted. I learnt also that she had to shew something and that bones were just good enough for that. She has become a very lovely dog, with a lot of temper, but a good mind. She is friendly and very attentive. She is also funny and makes me smile any time she looks at me.

When I got Eima, I was like a little mother and that was my bigger mistake. I registered the domain name of Eima Mode to dress her from toes to top, but she never gave me the opportunity to dress her. She never has been a baby. A weimaraner is a real dog with dog tricks that you have to love or hate. I have learnt to love it.
