About me
When I entered the School of Fine Arts as a child, I had no idea about a career. I had some abilities to draw and I wanted to learn more. I have studied drawing for two years, then modeling. I have entered a high school very specific to “applied arts”. I have studied the history of art, the technologies, design, architecture, graphics, and I grew up in maturity with a very good background. The more I was studding the art, the less I was feeling to be a real artist. I could have spread a message with the art, but it was not the kind of message that I wanted to spread.
For two years, I had extra courses in the mathematics and the geometry. I had no idea of a specific career, but when making interior design, I was quite relevant. Interior design was an inspiring experience, but I wanted to do more for a living. I wanted the exaltation of freedom. I wanted to overwhelm my own female nature. When I decided to become an architect, I guess that I have chosen also to be that kind of man with my sensitivity. I wanted to create myself not as an adult, but as an accomplished senior. I always said that I would be a doctor about age 50, because to graduate earlier would have meant nothing.
I am few steps away from my 50th, and I don’t feel ashamed of my accomplishment. I did not make an ordinary “career”, but I have made some good. I have gradually taken advantage of my experience. I have many singularities and methods that have proven good results. I have also a strong perseverance.
I have been involved in sustainability programs since the tsunami of December 2004. Deforestation, wood construction, energy, water and recycling are my very best expertise. I have managed projects, built prototypes, normalized, patented and I have written a lot about the economy of hardwood. I manage few projects that I recommend you to support. This is sincerely the best investment you can make for 2016.
